Rousseau was one of the great propounders of naturalism. He believed in imparting education to children in the atmosphere of nature. He opposed any artificiality and hypocrisy in any segment of education. He described three sources of education - nature, man, and things or objects. The most renowned contribution of Rousseau is his scheme of education which he recommended for different stages of human life.
