Question- Explain the principle of transfer of learning and the principle of specific part.

This theory was supported by Spearman. According to this principle, it is natural for every human being to have two elements - Common Element and Specific Element. These elements are also given the name of intelligence. A person uses common sense in every work of life and through common sense, he does every work of life but at the same time the special intelligence or merit is used only in subject or special circumstances. Therefore one can transfer only common sense, can not transfer special intelligence. If a child studies any subject like history, geography, sanskrit etc. then he can transfer only his general intelligence.
