It means that a person is imprisoned in a specially created masculine or feminine image. Gender creation is the process of social construction of a feminine or masculine image. However, the social composition of gendered identities is variable as man’s relationship to self, bodies, nature, and ways of perceiving and understanding the world at particular historical moments are variable. Our identity and its associated meanings are fluid. So gender identity may be transcended, for example, through political mobilization. We must now understand the concept of social construction.
