Following are the suggestions to reduce gender bias from courses and textbooks :
➤ Production of educational material should be in accordance with the spirit and fundamental rights and equality enshrined in the Constitution.
➤ There is a need to amend the syllabus and textbooks where women are portrayed as only good housewives. There is a need to include the achievement of women at par with men. It can also be done that the father is cooking, the mother is lighting the bulb, the girl is returning from school on a cycle and the boy is sweeping.
➤ A gender committee consisting of academia, feminism, historians, government, etc., in the curriculum and textbooks, to ensure the quality of the curriculum and to ensure that textbooks are free from gender discrimination.
➤ Instead of writing superficial thoughts about the place of the girl child, writers should feel the real position of the girl child in the family.
➤ Today very few women's autobiographies are read, as biographies of women are produced in small numbers. Girls can be motivated by increasing their number.
