Answer -

Counsellors are such members of the service providers who are qualified and experienced in dealing with domestic violence cases, hence they are skilled in providing counselling services to the victim or convicted person of domestic violence.

Question- What is the responsibility of the shelter and medical facility effective?
Answer - According to Section 6 and 7 of the Domestic Violence Act, it is the responsibility of the in-charge of the shelter and medical facility to provide shelter and medical facilities to the victim on the basis of the request of the victim himself or the security officer or the service provider on his behalf.

Question- What is meant by welfare experts?
Answer - Wellness specialists are individuals with efficiency and expertise in resolving family matters. Magistrates can take the help of welfare experts when required under this Act. As far as possible, women experts are selected under this act.
